Lovely Winter – DIY Beret

The beret can be described as an artifact for winter clothing. It not only modifies the shape of the face but also adds points to your body style. It’s getting cold, today I will share with you how to make a beret. You can make a hat super fast, come and try it! Cut a circle with a diameter of 28-29cm on the fabric. This diameter is suitable for a head circumference of 54-56CM.

1

You can fold the fabric in half by two times, and use a ruler to measure the radius and cut it, radius data roughly 14.5cm – including seam allowance.

2

Cut another circular shape fabric with exactly the same size like this one.

3

Fold the circular fabric in half by two times, and cut out the center parts – a smaller size circular fabric radius 7.1cm.

4 1

Put these 2 circular fabrics on the table.

5

Sew them together – 1cm seam allowance; Sew again along with the seam allowance edge.

6
7

Prepare a long strap with size 53 * 7 cm, it already includes 1cm seam allowance.

8

Fold it on the opposite side.

9
10

Sew the brim of the hat and overlock it. When seaming, you can try to get as close to the seam allowance line as possible, that is, keep a seam head of about 0.5cm to ensure that it will not be too tight to wear.

12

Cut out two 47cm cloth heads, overlap the fronts, draw a 1.55cm small triangle, and sew the waistline on both sides of the triangle.

Place the tip of the hat in the very center of the crown and pinch it with your fingers from below. Pinch like this. Sew at the pinched position, be careful not to sew too wide.
