From June 27 to 29, the Kearing team enjoyed a refreshing summer escape to Qingdao, trading desks and deadlines for sea breeze, tidal flats, and a bit of friendly competition.
Sea, Sun, and Signal Hill
Our trip began with a walk along Qingdao’s famous Zhanqiao Pier, followed by panoramic views from Signal Hill and a stroll past the historic charm of the German Governor’s Mansion. It was a gentle start—just enough sightseeing to stretch our legs and slow down the pace.
Later, we explored Badaguan’s quiet villas and tree-lined streets, before heading to the Second Bathing Beach, where some of us dipped our toes in the sea, others simply relaxed and let the ocean do the talking.
Into Nature: Laoshan & Coastal Fun
The next day took us to Laoshan’s Yangkou area for a light mountain walk. The air was cool, the trails peaceful, and the view—layers of green and ocean blue—was worth every step. It was the kind of silence you don’t get in the city, and we were glad to share it as a team.
After lunch, the fun got a little sandy. Some of us wandered along the tide line while others built small sand mounds and improvised castles—more for laughs than for architecture.
Then came a series of team coordination games on the beach: group relay, partner volleyball runs, and of course, a spirited round of tug-of-war. Laughter came easy, and so did a few playful falls in the sand.
Light Moments, Lasting Memories
On the final day, we toured the Tsingtao Beer Museum and took a slow walk through Xiaomaidao Park. There was time to chat, joke, and reflect—nothing rushed, nothing forced.
No tight schedule, no big speeches. Just three days of shared stories, salty air, and stronger bonds. Sometimes, that’s exactly what a team needs.
